The band performs four major concerts per year, with additional minor concerts (Thornton Winterfest, Twist and Shout Summer Concert Series) spread throughout.

Don’t miss the Thornton Community Band as they ring in the holidays with you at this year’s WinterFest. Compiled by members of the community, there will be tunes and faces that you are sure to recognize.
Reserved seat tickets ($2 each) will be available in advance at the Carpenter Recreation Center front desk from November 29 through 5 p.m. on December 11. Tickets will also be available at the North Pole Visitor’s Center until 6 p.m. the night of the concert and at the door until 7 p.m. on Saturday. The reserved ticket seating area will be in the front half of the tent and will be roped off until 15 minutes after the concert starts. At 7:15 p.m. ALL remaining seats will be available to general admission attendees at no charge.
Holiday Fireworks I 8:30 p.m.
Immediately following the Thornton Community Band performance, the northwestern sky above Santa’s Village will come to life with an amazing fireworks show choreographed to holiday music.
