The Thornton Community Band is 100% volunteer-run, so all funding goes to making sure we are ready to serve our community the best way we know how; through music and also by striving to be a true community cornerstone by ensuring that all members of our community can attend our events without financial barriers.
However, like any organization, we need funding to survive and thrive from year to year. Your gift or commitment to sponsor is vital to the band’s future, with funding going towards such items as:
- Venue rentals
- Instrument/ Music Literature acquisitions
- Program printing
- Merchandise development
- Marketing initiatives
